Under the new rules, only people with a valid UK/Irish passport or ID Card can complete a remote check.  So for an out of date passport the check would need to be face to face.


If the applicant has a non UK/Irish passport, then we will request their Share Code Certificate, though you are still obliged to check them against this document either face to face or remotely on video


If you see the customer face to face, then they can also use a D/L and proof of address etc using the R2W wizard on your agent app.
