When you receive a completed certificate from your applicant:-
- You need to review and if you are happy to proceed, you need to confirm their identity within the portal tab 'Edit Application'
- You then need to request the Basic DBS check in the Background Checks tab
- The DBS will advise the digital result to us which we will provide to you by email
- If the applicant has confirmed they require a paper copy, the DBS post out the certificate - we never see this or the contents
